Behind the name
Everything we do is grounded in supporting individuals to access and engage in activities that are purposeful and meaningful to them. We focus not only on the skills needed to perform a task but also consider the environment, relationships, and external factors that impact participation. Our goal is to provide therapy that is functional, accessible, and realistic, ensuring it aligns with what is important to you and your family.
A special part of Function & Flow Therapy is the ampersand. It represents Rebecca’s dual experience as both an Occupational Therapist AND a Parent. She merges clinical expertise with lived experience, offering a compassionate and unique perspective when working with families. The ampersand symbol in our branding was thoughtfully designed with a nod to Rebecca’s daughter—her ‘sunrise baby’, who has deepened her understanding of the world through a child’s eyes.
The ultimate goal. Flow is a state of joy, motivation, and just-right challenge, often considered one of the highest levels of well-being. At Function & Flow Therapy, we support individuals in finding flow in their daily lives—whether that’s through building essential skills and confidence or ensuring their environment sets them up for success.
